- All separations done by Century Graphics & Sign, Inc are owned by Century Graphics & Sign, Inc and will not be sold or shared in order to protect our proprietary separation methods.
- The rightful owner still retains the rights to any art provided by the customer. The customer must have the rightful owner’s approval to print if the customer is not the original owner.
- The customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Century Graphics & Sign, Inc from any and all claims, damages, or legal fees arising from copyright or trademark infringement claims regarding the artwork provided by the customer.
Quality & Errors
Century Graphics & Sign, Inc is not responsible for poor printing that is a result of poor artwork; however, we do our best to improve the artwork or we will request higher quality art if we believe it will be an issue.
We are also not responsible for any errors in the artwork, or spelling errors in the artwork after the art is reviewed and approved by the customer. However, we do our best to catch these errors and report them to our customers. If the printed artwork does not match the artwork that was approved, see the Production section for details.
Custom apparel decoration involves industrial, artistic, and chemical processes. Slight variations in ink opacity, texture, and shading are inherent to the screen printing process and are considered acceptable variations rather than manufacturing defects.
Placement
Hoodies & Specialty Garments
Printing on garments with buttons, zippers, hoods, pockets, etc., may result in poor registration and ink coverage if the art is over or near any uneven surface.
Placement Margin of Error
We guarantee that all prints will be within ¾” either direction of the approved placement. However, this mostly applies to difficult print locations; our printers have extensive experience and we generally get placements within ½” either direction.
MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)
- Standard Screen Prints: Orders with standard print sizes must be at least 50 pieces. Order minimums with oversized print sizes, simulated process art, or non-traditional print locations may vary.
- On all orders with small quantities of youth sizes, the DTF process may be used on those items at our discretion. Colors may vary slightly from the adult-sized screen printed shirts.
- Digital Transfers (DTF): Our minimum order quantity for digitally printed transfers is 15 pieces.
- Century Graphics & Sign, Inc reserves the right to refuse service or decline any order at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, artwork that violates copyright/trademark laws, content deemed offensive or inappropriate, or garment materials that do not align with our production and machinery capabilities.
Payment & Pricing
Refunds
We do not offer refunds. If you are unhappy with our services for any reason outside of these policies, we will happily reprint your order. See the Reprints section under Post Production for more details.

Custom orders will not begin processing until payment has been made in full. We accept all credit and debit cards. For certain orders, we may request a wire transfer.
Processing Fees: Customers are encouraged to pay via ACH or wire transfer. Turnaround times do not begin until funds have completely cleared our banking institution.
Pricing & Estimates
- Century Graphics & Sign, Inc pricing is subject to change at any time, and is expected to increase by about 5% annually.
- Quotes provided by Century Graphics & Sign, Inc expire 30 days from the date they were created.
Blanks & Garments
Manufacturer Defects
Century Graphics & Sign, Inc is not responsible for any manufacturer defects such as color inconsistency, poor stitching, holes, rips, or tears. We do our very best to catch these defects and we will replace them at no cost if we spot them, but we cannot guarantee that we will see every single one. We highly recommend ordering a few extra garments of each size just in case.
Re-Dyes
Some brands may re-dye their garments to sell them if the original color is not selling. This may affect the color of water-based and discharge inks. If you have concerns about this, you may call us and we will recommend brands (like Bella + Canvas) that guarantee no re-dyes or over-dyes. While we will notify you if we see this is a problem, we are not responsible for any extra charges that may apply to reorder fabric.
Under/Over Margin of Error (Spoilage)
Century Graphics & Sign, Inc guarantees an industry-standard spoilage rate of 3%, though we try our best to keep it under 2%. Errors are natural in the printing industry, but we work hard to limit them. We highly recommend ordering a few extra garments of every size. If your order does incur shortages, you will be credited back.
Production
Approval Requirements
All orders are approved via a digital proof sent by email. This proof is extremely important and will be the primary reference for every step of the process; it is crucial that you look over every detail before giving the OK. Proofs must be approved within 24-48 hours or your production time may be delayed.
Century Graphics & Sign, Inc is not responsible for any errors in the art or details that are approved by the customer. Any corrections made after approval will delay production and could result in additional expenses.
Photo Approvals (On-Press Pictures)
While photo approvals are not a standard part of our process, if you would like this service, please let your sales associate know. Please keep in mind that digital screens display colors and details differently, so a photo may not perfectly match the final product.
Here are our guidelines for this service:
- Fees: This service starts at a minimum of $40 per print location.
- 10-minute Response Window: Because your order will be actively holding up a printing press, we require your approval within 10 minutes of sending the photo.
- Delayed Responses: If we do not hear back within 10 minutes, we will have to take the job off the press, and additional setup/teardown fees will apply.
- Changes: Any edits or changes requested at this stage will result in additional charges.
Ink Color & Pantone® Matching
We genuinely go the extra mile compared to the industry standard in terms of color matching. However, this is a very time-consuming process with many variables, and we simply cannot guarantee absolute color matches.
We expect our customers to call out Pantone® colors in their art. While we are separating the art, we will double-check these colors and bring it up with the customer if we see any issues. Century Graphics & Sign, Inc is not responsible if the wrong colors are called out and printed. We supply—at no extra charge—every Pantone® color up to the date of 2026. Custom colors may require additional fees.
Types of Printing:
Traditional Screen Printing, Simulated Process, DTF, & Hybrid
- Traditional Screen Printing: A traditional method using primary ink colors blended together to recreate detailed, photographic images on light-colored garments.
- Simulated Process: A specialized screen printing method using a specific blend of ink colors to achieve realistic, high detailed artwork and gradients on dark garments.
- Hybrid Printing: A process combining traditional screen printing along with a digital component (Digital Squeegee) for vivid unlimited photo and color representation.
- DTF: A direct-to-film transfer done inhouse to assure quality control.
Color Consistency
We do our best to ensure color consistency with plastisol ink. However, we cannot guarantee exact color consistency with water-based or discharge inks. This is because water-based and discharge inks dye the fabric directly and can be heavily affected by the garment color/material, which varies slightly by batch and manufacturer. We keep samples of nearly every order that comes through our shop and do our best to match previous orders. Keep in mind that ink is constantly being remixed and relies on many variables beyond our control.
Color Changes & Order Revisions
- Color Changes: We permit 2 color changes per location per order; anything beyond that is considered a new design.
- Order Changes: Once your order's proof has been approved, production work begins immediately. Any changes to the order could mean re-doing hours of work. For this reason, we include a $50 change fee in addition to any new expenses required to cover supplies, garments, restocking fees, etc.
Exact Quantities: Because setting up an industrial print run is a highly involved process, we do not issue reprints for shortages that fall within our 3% spoilage allowance. If an exact count is required for your order or event, we strictly advise supplying or purchasing an overage of 3% per size.
Customer-Supplied Goods: In the event of spoilage on customer-supplied garments, Century Graphics & Sign, Inc will credit or refund the decoration cost only. We are not responsible for replacing, reimbursing, or compensating the cost of customer-provided blank garments that fall within our standard 3% spoilage allowance.
Post Production
Satisfaction & Loss of Profits
We enforce high quality control standards in our shop, and garments are inspected throughout our entire production process. Ultimately, you, the customer, are the final quality control check. Any issues must be reported within the industry standard of 72 hours upon receiving your order.
We are not responsible for any costs beyond the wholesale cost of the garments. (For example: If you pay us $5.90 for a garment that you retail for $20, we are only responsible for the $5.90.) Century Graphics & Sign, Inc is not responsible for any loss of profits you may incur once the garments have reached your customers.
Reprints
If Century Graphics & Sign, Inc is responsible for errors over our spoilage rate, please send us photos and we will gladly accept the garments back and schedule a reprint. We require that you ship the misprinted garments back to us—we will provide a prepaid shipping label. Production will not begin on the reprints until the misprinted garments are back in our possession.
Garment Care
We cannot guarantee the long-term durability of water-based and discharge printed garments because once they leave our shop, they may endure exposure to harsh chemicals, aggressive wash settings, and abrasive wear. We highly recommend washing your garments before wearing them, washing on cold, and tumble drying on low.
Shipping & Turnaround
General Shipping Policies
We ship via UPS & FedEx. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, which will be added to your invoice unless otherwise agreed upon. Shipping transit time is not included in our production turnaround times.
Century Graphics & Sign, Inc does not assume responsibility for shipping carrier errors, transit complications, delivery delays, or weather-related issues. We are not responsible for any garments once they have left our facility, nor are we responsible if items are shipped to an incorrect address that was approved on the mockup.
Turnaround Time
Most orders are completed within 10-12 business days from the date of customer payment. This time frame does not include company holidays, days in transit, or custom art design time.
- Customer-Supplied Garments: Please be aware that your order may be subject to slower turnarounds if your garments do not arrive within 72 hours of placing the order.
- Orders requiring special finishing services will require additional production time.
Rush Orders & Events
We accept rush orders when our production schedule permits. Please speak with a sales associate to confirm availability before assuming we can accommodate a rush timeline. Rush orders must be paid in full upon sales order and art approval. You may not cancel a rush order once it is placed.
Split Shipping & Packaging
- Split Shipping: Split ship orders will be billed at current shipping rates. We require a detailed breakdown of the garments and sizes allocated to each shipping destination.
- Packaging: Unless specialty finishing services are requested, all orders will be folded in 6s and stacked in boxes from largest to smallest, grouped and rotated by size, up to 72 pieces per box.
- Folding & Bagging: We do offer folding and bagging services. Contact Century Graphics & Sign, Inc for a current quote.
